The photos above show a few of the many dimensions of who I am. I wear many titles:

  Mom ~Wife ~ Daughter ~ Writer ~ Nurse ~ Friend ~ Puppy-mom ~ Leader~ Lover

  Christian~Bourbon Drinker ~ Popcorn Enthusiast ~ Case Manager ~Step-Mom

I could go on and on. All of these titles fit together to create this dynamic woman I am today. This woman that I love more today than I have ever loved her.

In 2017 I made the promise to myself that I would no longer go to a job everyday that drained me. I am a creative woman and needed the opportunity to grow that creative part of me. That is when "Making Space" was born.

I've struggled with the constant need to create a space for myself in my own life. Today, I am growing my business and connecting with my true gifts.

I have been a writer for as long as I can remember. Poetry, stories, articles, blogs, technical papers - you name it and I have written it! I write about health, wellness, careers and the life of middle-age women, life me. Head over to my blog to check out more about who I am as a writer.

I went to college and have degrees in Nursing and Healthcare Administration. I am slowly decreasing my nursing hours and increasing my writing gigs. This is who I am and I finally know what I want to be when I grow up - a writer! Nursing will always be a part of who I am and love to use my nursing knowledge in my writing. It is just now time to "make space" for my writing career.

As a woman, I have been married, divorced, single, and married again. I have a deep, complex story of love and loss. I have been married almost 5 years this second-time around and I am finally getting it right. I am a mother of 3 teenagers who keep me busy.

I am so glad you have read my story. I hope you are starting to feel the connection build between us. Connect with me below and you will receive my monthly newsletter. I can't wait to help you learn how you can Make Space for yourself in this new stage of life. ~Melissa
